Throw a House Party for Ra!

Thank you for continuing to support my campaign for City Council in North Minneapolis, Ward 5. Our team is working hard to build a solid foundation that will take us into the campaign season successfully.

And We Need Your Help...
In the past, you expressed an interest in supporting the campaign, and we are calling on your good will and campaign support now. We would be honored if you supported our campaign by hosting a House Party!

How to host a house party

What is a House Party?
Although you might envision a Kid ‘n Play dance off, a campaign house party is an excellent way to support Raeisha for Ward 5. It would mean getting family, friends, and neighbors together to connect, strengthen and create relationships, ask guest to make a donation of any amount (not to exceed $600) and discuss ideas for the future of Ward 5, North Minneapolis, and our city as a whole.

But, I don't live in Ward 5!
No worries, your support from anywhere will cultivate awareness and solidarity. True growth within and around Minneapolis will come when our community has a voice on the City Council.. And I am committed to being a community voice.

What does a host have to do?
As a house party host, you invite your personal network to join you and Raeisha For Ward 5 for a mixer at your house or an event space. You provide refreshments, guests, and space if possible (our team has venues available should you need). Make a personal donation to the campaign not to exceed $600 (in this 2017 election year) and ask your guests to make a contribution to support our campaign.

What will our campaign provide?
Our team will create your invitation, support in securing a venue if needed, help with promoting the event to supporters and the community and attend the event.

Can we schedule a house party with you?

If this sounds like something you can do, please let us know and I will personally reach out to secure a date and time with you.  If you would like to contact me directly with any questions and concerns, please do so.

Remember, you let us know how you would like to host your event and we will work with you to make it happen. If you would like to co-host with a group of friends, your professional network, or personal associations, let us know. If you are unable to host, please extend this invitation within your networks.

We are excited for all of your support and look forward to making new memories, new beginnings and building the best Ward 5.

In love and solidarity,

Raeisha Williams, For Ward 5 City Council
